I can’t believe it, but summer is soon coming to an end. Yes, it’s that time again. We are in the last days of summer.
The last day of summer is September 22.
When I lived in Nebraska apart of me cried, because I knew the cold winter was coming. But I was also a little happy because my favorite season in Nebraska is the fall. It is so beautiful.
The scenery is gorgeous with all of the trees and plants change into fall shades of orange and yellow.
But before we get there, try out some of these activities with the kiddos these last few days of summer.

Go to a local farm and pick fruit
Before having kids this was something that I enjoyed doing with my husband. Now that the little guys are older this is something that they will enjoy. In Florida, there are many fruits and vegetables that are harvested year around. If you can’t find a local farmer, check out the next farmers market.
Bake some cupcakes
I am no Pioneer Woman, but I am pretty good at following the directions on the box. I usually let the little guy pick out what flavor cupcakes he wants. Then he helps me make them and decorates them with lots of sprinkles.
