LISTEN: APPLE PODCASTS | SPOTIFY | STITCHER
Do you remember when you were a first-time mom? Then you probably remember feeling mixed emotions and doubting your mommy instincts.
Many times moms doubt their instincts because of the fear of the unknown. It seems so much easier to depend on the known. You know. Experts and others that have gone through child-rearing.
You can get back to trusting your mommy instincts by being vulnerable. This means you have to be willing to be exposed and real with yourself and others.
Start by saying when you need help, admitting that you don’t have the answers and exposing the thoughts and feelings you are struggling with.
Asking for help can feel like a weakness. But believe me. It’s not.
Plus, you have to be self-aware and know when you need to recharge. If not, you will head down a path of overwhelm, stress, losing yourself.
In this episode, Courtney answers the tough questions of why we don’t trust our mommy instincts. And guides you on how to begin trusting your mommy instincts again.
