It’s a new year. And this year, I want to do myself a favor and finally lose weight.
I have been carrying on some baby weight, but I can’t even call it baby weight anymore because my son is three years old.
Carrying this extra weight makes me self-conscious and my jeans extra snug.
After paying attention, I have learned that I have a problem with emotional eating. On top of that, I don’t work out as consistently as I should.
As a result, it’s easy for me to pack on the pounds.
Now that my jeans are getting more challenging to put on, I know that that is a signal that I need to slow down and pause and figure out what I need to do to get back to my ideal weight.
Now, of course, I could try a different type of diet. Or I could go on a unique meal plan and take some supplements.
But how many times have you tried some weight loss plan, product, or supplement, only to lose weight and gain it right back?
Plus, I’ve learned my lesson after listening to Jen, tell me about restrictive diets.
So this year I want to do something that will be long term. That will help me with my habits and help me to feel better about myself overall.
So that’s why I’m going with Noom.
After enjoying a trip to Spain and the tasty wines, I came back home the heaviest I have ever been (not counting when I was pregnant).
I decided to give Noom a try because I was tired of the weight loss plans and apps that didn’t work.
Noom is different than most weight loss apps because it is focused on supporting a healthier lifestyle than a restrictive diet. With Noom, I can still eat chocolate and drink wine if I want.
After using Noom for a few weeks, I noticed a significant change in my thought process in the way that I saw food.
I stop thinking of foods as good or bad. Or telling myself, I can’t have that.
Then I learned how to find nutrient-dense foods, versus calorie-dense, so that I could feel fuller longer.
I will be honest. I went out of town and didn’t log in. Then I completely fell off the bandwagon once I got back home.
With the newness of the new year, I am ready to get back on track and start using Noom daily.
It’s time to get into the right mindset, eat healthier foods, and ditch the diets.
So sign up today for Noom’s 14-day trial, if you are like me and want to do better about living a healthier lifestyle and lose some weight.
